The College of Liberal Arts and the School of Arts, Media and Communication (SAMC) successfully prepare students for the future with instruction in 16 undergraduate degrees, seven graduate degrees, 26 minors, and three certificate programs. The College continually serves the largest number of students at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with 2,700 students enrolled in its various programs.
Our students compete on stages across the country, secure national grants for area non-profit organizations, appear on national television shows, present at academic conferences, and continue to become outstanding leaders on and off campus.
The faculty includes many award-winning professors committed to teaching, research, publication, and creative activity at regional and international levels. They provide learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom with more than 180 partnerships with community organizations. Through these partnerships, students engage in applied scholarship, service-learning projects, and internships, thus giving them the opportunity to apply themselves in real-world work environments while gaining useful experience.
Donations to the College of Liberal Arts and SAMC allow students to utilize the newest technology as they prepare for their future careers. In addition, scholarships allow students to focus on career-oriented activities, conduct innovative research, and network with professionals…opportunities that were never before possible.
It is through your generosity, our programs will continue to flourish and offer an innovative education that is second to none, where students turn their dreams into reality.
